I am urban child where chips and soda was lunch and the top choices of food when it came down to a quick snack. I did not know better... Until I took a nutrition class in college. My eating habits changed but not as fast as my health needed it to happen. I had a series off kidney infections at the age or 23. I had a number of fainting spells, headaches, fatigue issues, aches and pains. The doctors couldn't tell me what was wrong. They told me to rest more, stay hydrated, exercise, eat fruits and vegetables.
I met a ton of people who where vegan, kosher, anti-pork, pro-fish, diabetic and raw eaters. I became curious about these diets. All of these people had the energy that I wanted. They were healthy and happy. So I'm on a quest to find my way in my Urban world to a more organic, natural and fit lifestyle.
